Our Mission is informed by our principles. We serve as the most influential voice in articulating the message of our community’s Republican voters, and thus abide by a simple set of principles when making decisions regarding committee activity. We believe these principles to be critical to the Republican ideal, and consider them as we strive to move the party forward.

OUR PRINCIPLES

WE BELIEVE:
  • The strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

  • In equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

  • In free enterprise and in the encouragement of individual initiative, and that these things have brought opportunity, economic growth and cultural prosperity to the United States.

  • That the government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep and protect that which they have earned.

  • That the best government is that which aims to govern its people least, and that the proper role of government is only to provide those critical functions which cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations.

  • The most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.

  • Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

  • Americans value (and wish to preserve) their love of the nation and its strength while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

  • The Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

Who We Are:

The Bethel Park Republican Committee is here to serve you and keep you informed on Republican activities in our community.

Our committee is a grassroots organization in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania which works to elect Republican candidates to public office. We do this by literature drops, word-of-mouth, organizing, working poll, sign placements, fundraising and social media networking.

Our organization meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30pm in the Council Chambers at the Bethel Park Municipal Building. All registered Republican citizens of Bethel Park are invited to attend. You do not have to be a member of the committee to attend our meetings or to get involved in our efforts to elect the most qualified people as our representatives. We welcome all citizens of the municipality to come and participate in the process.
